About Sharon

Many people find that working with a therapist can enhance their lives. Simply, having someone there to listen can be helpful. Overall, people in therapy tend to have lower levels of anxiety and stress, decreased conflict, and improved quality of life.

Sharon works with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She brings a custom, balanced approach to her clients to ensure well being. She is dedicated to helping people work at their own pace of healing. By believing in the power of perseverance, positive relationships--whether it be through friends, family, or God-- and hard work, Sharon provides long-term solutions and life enhancing resources, helping people live more fulfilled and enjoyable lives.  

As a Clinical Therapist, Sharon has a unique understanding of the array of challenges that people face. She is there to offer support and hope. Through a therapeutic relationship built on trust, her clients gain new insight into life's challenges and she works along side them to create solutions to difficult problems. 

As a School Social Worker, Sharon has a special talent when it comes to working with young people in all sorts of circumstances. Whether they are children or young adults, her unique understanding of the obstacles many students face while in school and college contributes to her effectiveness in helping people find their own solutions to a problem. Sharon is passionate about helping students focus, work hard and get to the next level in school, involving herself with parents, teachers and other professionals to make sure her clients fulfill their potential and successfully reach their goals. 

As a Behavior Analyst, Sharon has the training and experience to provide support for individuals who seek change problematic behaviors and provide support to parents of children with behavioral concerns.

For individuals seeking faith-based counseling, Sharon's personal approach to Christian counseling contains many of the methods and ideas from various counseling styles and theories including psychoanalytic theory, person centered therapy, family systems theory and cognitive behavior therapy. At its core however, her approach is to meet her clients where they are at and use Biblical principals, the truth of the Word of God and prayer to bring each individual to a place of healing and wholeness.

A defining aspect throughout Sharon’s career is her unwavering commitment to developing relationships based on trust, where fears and feelings are openly discussed without judgment.
